Do These Indiana State Legislators Really Believe Gay Marriage Can Be Stopped?

Reader Comment from: Indiana State House Advances Constitutional Ban ,,,

"Virginia and many other southern states once banned interracial marriages too. Like bans on interracial marriages, bans on same-sex marriages will one day be declared unConstitutional. There is no other course for them to take. The only countries where same-sex marriages will one day be illegal will be countries that are Theocracies or Dictatorships. Americans who stand against same-sex marriage are standing against Democracy and the basic principles this country was founded on. Marriage is a civil right. Weddings are religious rituals. No Democracy can make same-sex marriages illegal and still be a Democracy."--ABratt's favorite comment from this article. 1-29-14.
